The file in this directory contains the unordered contigs representing the nuclear genome (14 chromosomes and a set of contigs without specific chromosome assignment) from the 8x P. chabaudi AS assembly (Dec. 2008 version).

Please note that the assembly may contain errors and misassemblies. This assembly is being worked on to improve the status and rectify the errors.  

DATA RELEASE POLICY

The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute plans on publishing the completed and annotated sequences of P. chabaudi AS (i.e. 8X assembly and updated annotation) in a peer-reviewed journal as soon as possible. Permission of the principal investigator should be obtained before publishing analyses of the sequence/open reading frames/genes on a chromosome or genome scale.
