As part of the PF3K (https://www.malariagen.net/projects/parasite/pf3k) consortium we generated 15 high quality reference genomes of Plasmodium falciparum using the Pacific Bioscience technology. This includes 5 know labstrains and 10 clinical isolates. Many of the assemblies have chromosomes with telomere to telomere heptamers. Here the raw genome assemblies are deposited.

This directory (ftp://ftp.sanger.ac.uk/pub/pathogens/Plasmodium/falciparum/PF3K/PilotReferenceGenomes/DraftAnnotation/) and subdirectories contain the draft annotation of the 15 genomes. The genomes were annotated automatically with Companion (https://companion.sanger.ac.uk/). Please be aware that automated annotations will contain errors.

These data are unpublished, but can be used under the Fort Lauderdale's data sharing principles. Please refer to http://www.sanger.ac.uk/about/who-we-are/policies/open-access-science/#guidelines for further information.
