This FTP directory contains a number of files that 
relate to the mouse sequencing collaboration.

The files :


ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.txt		

Acknowledgement of the contribution in mapping certain Mouse chromosome 17 clones.





MouseProgressACEDB.tar.gz	

This is a compressed ACEDB that contains a record of the sequencing progress of Mouse
clones involved in the collaboration project. 

It currently holds clones being sequenced at the Sanger Centre. It will be updated shortly to
include those nbeing sequenced at the HGMP.


To uncompress :

	gunzip MouseProgressACEDB.tar.gz
	tar xvf MouseProgressACEDB.tar

You will need a copy of the ACEDB binary code to view the database.
This can be obtained via http://www.acedb.org/


			


ProgressFile.ace

This is an ace file containing the progress of the Mouse clones through the sequencing pipeline.
It can be read into any ACEDB that has the appropriate object model. The object model can be 
obtained from the MouseProgressACEDB.tar.gz.

This is a compressed copy of the Mouse fpc database currently held at the sanger centre.
