This application is used to view any of files with a .fig extension.  

All tools supplied require the installation of the MCR application supplied by Matlab (The MathWorks).  Instructions on the installation of these components can be found in the MCR_installation_readme.txt file.

If you have the MCRInstaller already on your computer, double click on figViewer/windows/openFigure.exe.

If you do not have the MCRInstaller, double click on figViewer/windows/openFigure_pkg.exe and the MCR components will be installed.

If you do not have the MCR installed, enter ./MCRInstaller.bin at your console and a wizard will assist you through the installation.

Adjust environment variables as described in MCR_installation_readme.txt.

Execute ./openFig.  
 
If there are any problems, ensure that the environment variables are appropriately set as described in MCR_installation_readme.txt and/or that permissions are set appropriately.
